During September, within HRZZ AdriaCos project geophysical prospection using georadar and magnetometer at a number of locations in Stari Grad were undertaken, with the aim of detecting the positions of necropolises, sections of city walls and other parts of the urban fabric of ancient Pharos. Software processing and mapping of discovered archaeological features took place simultaneously with the fieldwork. The research is the result of a collaboration between the Institute of Archeology, the Museum of Stari Grad and the Agency for Stari Grad Plain Management – a Public Institution, with the University of Kentucky (William S. Webb museum of Anthropology, College of Arts and Sciences), USA.
